Well what can I say about being in Maryland and going out for a dinner of seafood on the Chesapeake Bay where the seafood is known for being fresh and superb. We checked the restaurants on line and the menus and found Annies to be a great place to go. For my appetizer I ordered a dozen steamers and they were the worst steamers I have ever had. They were not steamers but more like clams on the half shell, large and as it turns out too tough to chew. Our waitress was concerned and notified the management of the complaint. She came back to us and told us that she spoke to the manager and that he told her the chef had cooked the clams for four minutes. It does not matter how long they were cooked or if the batch was old or whatever, the fact remains that they were uneatable and should not have been served to a customer. There was no apoligy nor was the manager willing to remove the cost of the dish from our check. We were charged for something I could not even swallow and did not eat. I have never been so rudely treated and feel I should not have to pay for something I could not eat. I felt bad for the waitress, but the management needs a lesson in professionalisim. We spent $99.17 for our dinners. Maybe the manager should be fired for treating customers with such total disrespect. Never will recommend this place. Not a very good review but I feel something should be said.

While visiting Kent Island for a weekend wedding we were looking for a place to have Sunday breakfast and found that
Annie's Paramount Steak and Seafood House had a Sunday Brunch ~ This was truly the place to go! Unbelieveable food
selection...Eggs Benedict, Omelet Station, Breakfast Meats plus Carved Roast Beef, Delcious Raw Oysters, Fried Chicken
& Fish, Pastas, Desserts, Outstanding Waitstaff and soooo much more. We were told Annie's was voted the best Sunday
Brunch and we can totally understand why. This is a "must try" place and well worth every dollar spent. Our compliments
to the owners, chefs and entire staff for a very enjoyable way to start our day and end our weekend on Kent Island.
We may not be "locals" but we will return for future visits.

My wife and I ate at Annie's on Kent Island. I am not easily impressed with restaurants, but one word describes Annie's--
AWESOME. Service was very good, food was incredible, and atmosphere was best I have seen in a long time. We will

I just wanted the folks at Annie's to know what an OUTSTANDING JOB they do with food, service and attention to customers. My partner and I make a point of driving an hour at LEAST once a week just to eat there. We have been eating there once a week for almost a year now and have not once had a bad experience with food or service. In fact, it is VERY REFRESHING to know that a restraunt still exists that has top-notch and personable waiters/waitresses.
We always sit in the smoking/bar area and I feel horrible that I cannot remember our "usual" waitresses' name but she is a young lady with a toungue ring!! Go figure, I can remember that! We usually spot her and ask the hostess to sit us in her area. We also have been waited on by almost everyone else there and the staff are all terrific in the bar area.
As far as food; you CANNOT FIND BETTER FOOD ANYWHERE on the Eastern Shore. The menu is EXTENSIVE which is nice if you are with others who don't eat certain things.
My personal favorites are: The Ribeye (PERFECTLY COOKED EVERY TIME), ALL the seafood/pasta dishes & the Crab Imperial Stuffed Rockfish (TO DIE FOR!!)
The Cream of Crab is the best on the Island. Even the salads are great.
A MUST TRY for anyone who has not been there.
I am looking so forward to living within 10 min from this restraunt!!!!!!!!!
P.S.- ANOTHER MUST TRY: Sunday Brunch!!!!! EXCELLENT SELECTION!

Brunch on Sunday 2/17/08
Having eaten at Annie's several times in the past, I have to say I was extremely disappointed in the brunch
selection/availability and quality. We were there to celebrate a birthday. Having been there in December 2006 for the
brunch, we were excited to go back again for brunch. However, this time was NO comparison. The buffet was less than
fully-stocked in many items, the biscuits were heavy, bacon was soggy and greasy, no scrambled eggs (so you could only
get an omelet) and the desserts tasted somewhat institutional. The servers for the waffles and ham/beef were not there
on 2 of the 3 times I went up to the buffet. Very disappointing!
***As an amendment to this review.....I was contacted by the owner who apologized and provided explanation for a few
things including that he was out of town (and not overseeing the restaurant) and we may have eaten at a "holiday" brunch
previously (in which the offerings and price are normally higher). The fact that he took the effort and time to followup
is an indication that attention will be given to these matters. That makes me feel much better about patronizing Annie's
in the future.

Bridges Restaurant is a wonderful new addition for our local restaurants! The atmosphere is gorgeous, the service and
food excellent and the sunsets beautiful! I had the mixed spinach salad, and my husband had the ceasar salad with the rare
steak strips app. What a wonderful surprise to see how eager and welcoming the servers were. For the 1st week open, they
had a large crowd of people for a Tuesday evening. We will be back very soon. And it is more of an upscale clientel as
well. We look forward dining on the outside wrap around deck in the summer! For meat and fish lovers the menu is very
diverse, and they even have flour less Chocolate cake! We could dine there easily at least twice weekly. Bridges is a must

My wife and I love going to Kent Island once a year. We stop at 7-8 restaurants through our 3 day weekend there. Once you
pull in and dock your boat, or grab a hotel room, you can walk to every hot spot on the island. One bar that was a big hit
during our last visit was “The Big Owl” Tiki bar. It is located next to The Narrows Restaurant. You will need to walk out
on a dock to get to it but can’t miss the canary yellow building. The Big Owl is a seasonal bar. They feature live outdoor
music on the dock, a limited bar menu (fresh steamed shrimp and such), and a variety of beers, and mixed drinks. My wife
and I were actually sent over to The Big Owl by a bartender at another bar. She told us to go over and have Jessica make us
a Rum Punch. Her advice was spot on. We enjoyed a few punches, Jimmy Buffet and Eric Clapton music, and the company of
several boaters that stopped in for happy hour. Our bartender was very friendly, and went out of her way to make our visit
comfortable and tasty. 5 stars for the Rum Punch. It was definitely worth making the trip out to the hut. Must have...

We were craving some really good Asian food and wanted to stay local.
Now, we've tried Sado many times before without stellar results, but because we believe in many second chances (we may have hit an off night...... many,
many times.....) we tried again.
We arrived to a waiting table and a waiter that was very nice, but very slow.
We ordered drinks, 2 appetizers and some sushi, saying that we were probably going to order more food.
We got our drinks and one appetizer (never got the other app) from our waiter. That was the last time we saw him.
The sushi came from the guy at the sushi bar.
The appetizer we managed to get was very good, but the sushi was pretty average (and we're not that picky about our sushi).
We waited for about 20 minutes after that to order a salad and soup.
Having waited for about 30 minutes after ordering the rest of the meal I thought I would like another drink.
Since our waiter hadn't been seen in about 30 minutes I wasn't going to wait and walked down to the bar and told the bar tender that the waiter had neglected to put our drinks in.
Since the bartender just handed me the drink I was under the assumption that this happened often.
When the soup (not the salad) got there it was SO hot that I burned my mouth. Now, I am not one to be sensitive about temperatures, but my mouth is still scorched.
Anyway, I asked to see the manager at this point and he was very apologetic. He took the salad, the neglected appetizer and our drinks off our check, which was nice, but we won't be back.
The manager was very nice, but made excuses for the terrible service.
There are SO many great restaurants in the area. I just feel like I can have a good experience in pretty much any other restaurant around.
SO disappointed.

We went to Cafe Sado last week and I have to say that the food was terrific! I had a "Harmony" sushi roll (Crab & Eel) and
the shrimp Yakisoba for dinner. The sushi roll was wonderful and after we finished that I was left wanting more sushi, but
we ended up with a noodle dish to try that side out. The Yakisoba was done perfectly and the shrimp were really tasty. My
girlfriend got sashimi (Sp?) Tuna and was very happy with that. My only complaint was that we had like 3 different waiters who
all didn't seem to know what was going on. They brough us the wrong food at first, but then figured out where to go, then
I hot a bottled beer instead of a Saki, and we waited a pretty long time for the check. They're new, so I give them a pass
on the service since I know that it's a regular problem over here anyway finding a staff, so aside from that little glitch this
place is really great. The decor is nice too and it will be really nice sitting outside when Spring comes. Definately worth a try.

I had some out of town friends come in on Saturday and we decided to grab a late lunch at The Crab Deck. I usually stay clear
of the Crab Deck in the early summer months because it's always so jam-packed, but in the Fall this is such a cool place.
The food here isn't gourmet or anything like that, but you get tasty food and a generous portion of it. I had the crab cake &
fried shrimp combo and cherrystone clams. They had a stuffed flounder on special so my GF got that, and our guests both got
hard crabs and steamed oysters. The broiled crab cake was very good and the large shrimp were not over battered and greasy, they
were really good. The clams had a lot of silt in them, so they were bay clams and they probably should get into the
practice of keeping them in a tank of clean salt water for 24 hours so that the spit out the silt, so I wouldn't get those again
unless they did something like that (it's what I do at home). I tasted the flounder and it was really good, and the oysters were
done perfectly. I didn't get a chance to try the crabs, but our friends liked them and said that they were meaty. Our
server was super-friendly and was joking with us and really made the experience that much better. I wish that I could
remember her name because she deserves praise. It was a bit chilly out, but a sunny day, so the glass doors were mostly closed,
but we still had that great view and after we ate we went to the bar area where the doors were open and just enjoyed the bay.
The Crab Deck is seasonal and unfortunately will probably be closed soon, which is always a bit sad to see for me.

We have been to Kent Narrows a dozen times and for some reason never went to the “Fisherman’s Inn”. This time my wife and I
decided to go in for a little lunch. The atmosphere was incredible. If you have young children and want to eat somewhere
that will keep them entertained, then this is the place to go. They have a collection of oyster plates that is probably
worth 10’s of thousands of dollars. The lounge area (bar) is actually carved into and shaped like a boat. There is a
G-Scale train that rides along the ceiling of the restaurant through 2 dining rooms. There is more fishing memorabilia
in one place than anywhere else I have been, and we vacation in places like NC Outer Banks, Virgina, Florida, and the
Caribean. There are fishing murals on several walls throughout the restaurant as well.
The restaurant was very full for a Saturday afternoon. The dining room was humming and everyone seemed to be having a
great time. There were a dozen specials on a board as you walk in that made your mouth water. My wife and I decided to
go to the bar and have a drink and get an appetizer before deciding on lunch. The bar was a little busy because there
was a banquet in the room next to the bar and servers were rushing food in and out through the bar areas. Our bartender
was very nice and attentive. We ordered a Bloody Mary and a Delaware Microbrew (special of the month which was
outstanding). We started with an order of seafood nachos. The description sounded great. Nachos topped with Monterey jack
cheese, shrimp, and snow crab. As soon as I took my first bite, I knew we were not eating snow crab. It had a very slimy
and fishy consistency. I asked the bartender if this was actually snow crab, or imitation crab meat. She said that she
would need to ask the chef. She came back a few minutes later and said that the chef said it was Surimi crab. For those
of you that don’t know Surimi is Imitation crab meat made by blending processed fish, with various texturizing
ingredients, flavorants, and colorants. Being an avid cook myself I knew they were trying to pass this off as “Snow Crab”
which is what it said on the menu. We were a little put off that we were in the heart of the Chesapeake bay and being fed
imitation crab that was labeled as snow crab on the menu.
We witnessed locals coming in and ordering seafood dishes without even looking at the menu, so in this land of watermen,
I am sure there were many fine dishes being served here. When we come back to the narrows and have our children with us
next time we will still come back to the Fishermans Inn for the nostalgia and give something else on the menu a try. But
we will be sure to ask our server what kind of crab meat they are using and where it comes from BEFORE ordering. On a
culinary level Fisherman’s Inn was our biggest disappointment from our trip. But as a tourist attraction is SURE to
impress.

My wife and I, along with our in-laws have been to Harris Crab House several times. We have yet to leave disappointed. This
visit was no exception. We started with a half dozen large steamed crabs. The crabs were very good. Of course these were
gulf crabs shipped up from Florida since we are a ways from crab season in the Chesapeake. However, they were full,
seasoned well, and came out hot enough to burn your fingers, which is as it should be. A scale from 1-10 on these crabs
would probably earn them a 6 or 7. Not bad for March. My wife chose the Lobster dinner. The lobster was cooked
appropriately and came out prepped for eating but was really nothing special. It was Friday night which is all you can
eat oyster buffet night at Harris. To all of you oyster lovers out there…..THIS IS IT!!!! The buffett was $28 and well
worth every penny. As a smart buffet person you would want to key in on the value of the items you choose to fill up on.
Here were the highlights….Oyster’s on the half shell. 2 guys standing there shucking like there was no tomorrow. They had
4 feet of cases of fresh oysters stacked up behind them, and you never waited in line for more than five minutes. Be sure
to tip these guys a couple of bucks. For those of you that have never shucked an oyster….this is NOT a fun job. Steamed
oysters- Just HUGE oysters steamed to perfection. Fried oysters- the chaffing dishes were constantly being refilled and
the oyster were always hot enough to burn your fingers. Honorable mention: Oysters Casino (baked oysters on the half with
cheese). They also had oyster stew and oyster dressing or casserole. Heavy soups and casseroles fill me up too much so I
stuck with the raw, steamed, fried, and baked oysters. You could also get cornbread, salad, and a variety of desserts.
Prime rib was also served on the buffet.
Our server was great and the food was above par. Especially the oysters!!! The price was inline with what we expected to
pay for this type of food. The experience was great overall. The only negative would come in as the atmosphere. This is a
GREAT place for family fun, but there is very limited seating for tables of 2. Therefore they seat you at a table that
you share with someone else if there are only 2 of you. I’m no snob, but when I want to sit next to 3-5 other people, I
bring them with me. When I’m out with my wife (without the kids for the first time in a year) I’d prefer to have it just
be the two of us at the table.
Oyster lovers MUST hit this buffet. You will be dreaming about it days after you leave.

professional. Perfect place to watch the sun set. We ordered drinks and she offered menus (the bar has appetizers &
sandwiches). Waitress promptly returned to the table with our drinks. We ordered Sweet potatoe fries (home made and
yummy) and a crab cake sandwich. I think it was about 14 dollars for each platter. Food was very good, hot when it arrived
with fresh rolls. Beer was cold. The area had music that was kind of Caribbean style. Not to loud. Average age of folks
around the bar was over 35, probably not a place for children. Planning on returning soon, I would give this place a 4

What a disappointment. Asian cuisine is my first choice always. Tried Ichiban on Monday when all the others are closed. The lunch was well presented but
had the flavor of Safeway sushi. The eel roll was presented with a heavy sweet sauce that overpowered the eel which seemed more micro waved than grilled.
The Tempura was competent but had a chicken strip as part of the presentation which seemed totally out of place and bland. The accompanied rice was dry.
A sad first attempt.
Tried them again for take out noodles and soup. Called ahead and was told to arrive in 20 minutes. Punctuality seems not to be an important issue for
them. Waited an additional 10 minutes and then was told that order was not mine and it would be a few more minutes. The sushi chef indicated they were
busy. Only two tables were occupied. Time Flies and I am out of there, never to return.
I guess Café Sado remains the only real Asian choice on Kent Island. Thankfully Café Sado is well run and fabulous.

We love the Kentmorr for many reasons. As a mother of two (one 7 and one 11) I like that we feel good about bringing the kids here. Some places get annoyed with children, and the patrons of those places seem to be that way too. The Kentmorr has a family atmosphere to it and a lot of people bring the whole family. Another good thing is that while they do have a bar, it is completely separate from the restaurant. I don't want to subject impressionable minds to open bar talk and the visuals that go along with that. With all of that said, the real reason to love this place is the food! They have a large menu and having tried just about everything on it, I can say that the food here is fantastic! My husband always goes for the same thing - the broiled crab cake and baby back ribs platter. He loves it. The kids have a children’s menu to choose from, but mine don't bother with that. My oldest loves snow crab legs, and my youngest goes for the steamed shrimp. I like everything! The view here is worth mentioning too. The restaurant has a wall of windows overlooking the bay (and their own beach) and there is a working fireplace in there as well. The staff is very friendly and good at what they do. where the difference is though - The Fish & Chips are made with catfish and are exceptionally good. The Chicken Strips aren't the kiddie menu variety, but very tasty and unusually tender. The Shrimp Jammers use a red pepper instead of a jalapeño and are
worlds better than I have had elsewhere. The burgers are cooked to order and top meat...very juicy! The steaks (prime rib) look great and the people sitting nearby were raving about it. Don't come here if you are looking for a lobster dinner or anything
big-time fancy, but come here for exceptional basic food with a great twist. Luke's Grille is a welcome addition to Kent Island and well worth a visit!

Although we've never been in the restaurant part, my husband and I have been to the bar many times at various evening hours
for drinks and food (and live music, when available). The service, food quality and music has reliably good and the cozy
atmosphere is quite nice. Happy hour is a good time for testing drinks and appetizers. At first we didn't really care for
the bar atmosphere, since we're not big "bar" people. We much prefer the atmosphere of "Meighans" of which we were
semi-regular patrons. Luke's is not a "pub" (in my lexicon), but it's as close as we're going to get to the only real pub
that once existed on KI (and Meighan sometimes works at Luke's--we love her!!). Simple food served up fresh and hot,
friendly service and good music--it don't get much better than that!

Awesomely Perfect & Delicious!
My wife and I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn for a wedding we attended at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club and we decided to
make it a mini-vacation since we live near Pittsburgh, PA. We ate at several restaurants during our visit, but nothing
compared to The Narrows. In fact, we broke our golden rule of only eating at a restaurant once and we patronized The
Narrows again the evening before we departed. The service was excellent. I'm covered in tattoos on both my arms and
sometimes I get treated oddly by servers, but not at The Narrows. Not only was I treated just like everyone else the
service was impeccable on both occasions. We were there for a late lunch on a Friday and Courtney served us and then
again on a Saturday night when Theressa served us. We were treated with respect and made to feel as though we were
the only customers they were waiting on, when, in fact, the establishment was moderately busy on both occasions, but you
never would have known, they didn't miss a beat. Kudos to both of them! The food was also excellent. We did repeat a few
items on both visits because they were so good. The Ciabattas were obviously freshly baked, warm & delicious and the
butter was served in round balls at room temperature. We had the Baked Crab & Artichoke Dip appetizer both nights with
the combination of country ham & spinach mixed into the dish was a perfect blend of flavors and texture. I had the
Cream of Crab soup both days because it was so rich, creamy & loaded with crab. I appreciated that sherry was made
available for the soup and not mixed in because I'm someone who does not favor adding it for flavor - the soup was
perfect just as it was. We then both had the Salad of Nuts & Berries, which was on a bed of field greens & blue cheese
with a homemade vinaigrette. The pecans were toasted and lightly crunchy while the blackberries & strawberries were
fresh and sweet. It was a perfect example of how simple ingredients can make something extraordinary. Friday I had the
Pecan Crusted Catfish which was lightly crispy and cajun spiced topped with a fresh corn and black bean salsa
accompanied by a black bean puree and hot sauce which was just perfect. My wife had the Imperial Twins, which were 2
English muffins halves topped with tomato, jumbo lump crab imperial & cheddar cheese baked to perfection. Saturday I
had the special of Rainbow Trout lightly seasoned and with a buttery/béarnaise cream sauce over their fantastic garlic
mashed potatoes with a side of julienned vegetables. My wife had the Petite filet mignon with béarnaise and cabernet
demi-glace & a broiled crab cake. She said the crab cake was the best she had ever tasted. We frequent Ruth's Chris
quite often so we have a great expectation when it comes to steak and their filet was perfectly cooked and delicious
she said. We capped off both nights with their Mousse in a Bag which was a white chocolate mousse in a semisweet chocolate
bag, served with raspberry sauce and a drizzle of homemade white chocolate. This dessert was something to behold,
something you'd fine in the finest of restaurants. It was rich and decadent - a perfect ending to a perfect meal. The
prices were right on the mark we thought. We had eaten less appealing food from other restaurants during our visit for
more. The atmosphere was light and open during the afternoon, mainly due to the establishment being wrapped in windows,
but at night it felt private and secluded because of the pitch black night falling onto the windows. There was also ample
parking and a lift to the front entrance. They also had a fully stocked bar and an exceptional wine selection. We dined
at 7 different restaurants during our stay, but none came close to the experience and the great tasting food like The
Narrows. We normally vacation at the Herrington Harbour Inn and we're already planning what night we'll make the trek
north to go back to The Narrows.

The Narrows is our favorite place to stop for a snack and glass of wine. There is a ledge at the end of the bar with enough
room to sit 3 people and you are literally on top of the bay. The view from this seat is breathtaking, so I suggest
grabbing up this real estate if you are sitting in the bar area. The wine menu is quite extensive offering multiple bottles
and half bottles of wines from different regions. They also have a dozen or so wines that can be ordered by the glass.
On this particular trip my wife and I were there for a quick bite and to enjoy the view a bit. We lucked out and had our
favorite seats right on top of the water. Our bartender Jenelle, recommended a glass of the Syrah wine which I found
delicious and a great match for the seared ahi tuna appetizer. We actually came back the next day for another tuna
appetizer for it was truly a party in your mouth. We also enjoyed the crab tart.
Seating in the restaurant is unique in that there really is not a bad seat in the house. (Visit there website and you’ll
immediately know what I mean). With the restaurant exterior made completely of windows, the atmosphere is bright, and
elegant. Menu prices are a bit high, but there is no gamble in dining here. From the courteous host that greets you when
you walk in the door, to the sparkle of the windows and place settings to the unique menu items featuring Maryland
Seafood….The Narrows is the place for a delicious, stimulating dining experience.

We go here often enough, particularly on special occasions. I always have the fish stew, only because I can't bear not to.
All the other food we've ever had is wonderful, too. It is a bit pricey, though, considering where we are (and not what
some aspire to be). Our last occasion was not as pleasant as usual--it was quite loud. Once things cleared out a bit, it
was better. Perhaps a look into better acoustics would help.

This is the place that I go to for special occasions. I can always bet on the food being excellent here. The Narrows offers a lot of unique things on their menu, as well as the nightly specials. Anything that they do blackened is always phenomenal. I had blackened swordfish here and it was amazing! Their Asian-ish specials are always great too. Of course there is always my old standby - the crab cake platter. I know that every restaurant has these in Maryland, and all claim to be tops.... but these really are the best. No filler large cakes with large chunks of crab neatly broiled and flavored with delicate spices. They come to the table with sherry if you like that (and I do!). I have to warn about prices though. I had a smoked lobster tail here, and although it was amazingly great and huge - it was close to $40.00. It was the special and I didn't ask how much it was, or I wouldn't have ordered it (but like I said - it was amazing). If you go for a special, just ask the price. Other than that, this place is a gem. The service is always perfect, the wine list is extensive, and the food is wonderful. Whether you are looking for Sea Bass with an Asian flare, Blackened Tuna, Mahi Mahi, or local favorites like crab cakes and oysters, The Narrows is simply fantastic! Oh yeah, they do have other things besides seafood, but I've never tried any of it because the seafood is just so good...!

I have been a Rams Head customer for many years. In fact, I was a regular at the Rams Head Tavern in the Savage Mill until
I moved to Kent Island last May. My husband and I have been to Happy Hour many times at the Shore House and the service
is always pleasant. The beer battered shrimp and the Ahi tuna are my favorites.
Recently my husband and I decided to try their very well advertised Monday night Lobster special. We arrived at 6:30 and were seated promptly. The waitress was
nice and asked if we wanted to order a drink. After reviewing the wine list and assuming we were eating lobster, we
ordered a nice bottle of white wine. The wine was delivered and the waitress was ready to take our order. We indicated
we were interested in the lobster special. Well evidently it really isn’t a special. Although other tables around us
were served lobster, lobster was only available for “call ahead”. What a disappointment! Since we had already ordered our
wine, we decided to review the menu and select something else. However we discovered that our white wine was actually
a Pinot Noir. That made our decision to leave and go somewhere else much easier.
I realize that sometimes there are shortages of select seafood and menus have to change. However, when you have a
standing special which is advertised in the Update, Eastern Shore magazine, your website, and on your outdoor sign, any
changes should also be well advertised. A sign on the door or even a notice from the hostess or waitress that the lobster
special was not available (before we ordered our wine), would have been appropriate. Also, it is either a special or
not. Allowing for some “in the know” to call ahead to reserve their lobster special when it is not available for everyone
is a poor business practice and in my opinion false advertising. A very disappointing visit to the Shore House.

This was one of the best pasta dishes I have had. Excellent!! And more than you could eat. The price was very good, I think
about $15.00. More important the service - Excellent again. The waitress was very friendly and cheerful. She knew the menu
well. Kylie J, if I recall.
Now for the Bad.
The desert, Bad, only that I will gain a few pounds eating it again and again and again. I wanted to lick the plate it was
that good.
Banana Creme Cheesecake
Fried golden and topped with sweet creme and fresh berries. "We assume no responsibility for its addictive qualities. Oh, all right. We take full responsibility" .
Let me tell you they are right. You have to try this.
I wasn't a big fan at first but the food and service has gotten 110% better. This could be my favorite place for this type

If anyone is reading this how about a nice burrito bowl.

This nice little Restaurant actually has pretty good food and a good happy hour. Unfortunately, if you happen to run into the owner, she is
very rude and obviously doesn't appreciate the people who frequent her place of business. After we showed up to our reservation with extra
people, instead of trying to be accommodating she, once again, became rude and nasty. Not being able to accommodate our extra people wouldn't
have been an issue, it was how the owner handles her patrons. I'm done, and so are the other 5 adults that regularly frequent this restaurant.

My wife and I went there during the college football bowl tournaments because Rustico's has multiple tv's in the lounge and
it is more like a cozy sports bar. We asked the waitress if she could turn on the Maryland game (since we are in
Maryland!). She did.....until one of the bartenders came on duty about 3:30 p.m. He apparently didn't like that Maryland
was ahead in the game. He turned the volume off on the tv and turned on some awful music that he played at a deafening
level. How rude and such a jerk!
It was so loud we could not stay there. We paid our bill and left....never to return. We don't need to support

We had for our app., the cheese and meat platter, and the mussels, shrimp, clams, and calamari in and lemon lime vinagerett dressing chilled and served
in a martini glass. YUM! The arugula salad with pomegranates, walnuts, and goat cheese...SUPURB ! And we both ordered the 16 oz filet stuffed with bleu

Leaving, Gino, the owner, gave me a long stem red rose, as he did for all of the women dining there.
Not only is the food always consistant, but the service is outstanding. There are not many restaurants, even in the city where the owners greet the client
